2 week project.

 

Brief:

Go to The Design Museum and choose 10 objects. 

Come up with a name and a strong narrative for them and produce exhibition graphics. 

Title panel, text panel, exhibition guide and headstones. 

 

The 10 items I chose were very ordinary and everyday so the name of my exhibition was 'Conventional Unconventional'. I wanted the public to walk into the exhibition and see one word (conventional) and walk out seeing another word (unconventional) which I did with a simple concertina fold. 

I applied that idea to the rest of the project and with the text panel, you read the text on the way in and then on the way out you saw the features artists and designers. 

Again with the object headstones, but this time the other side would reveal itself as you walk around the exhibition.
